| Objectives: | This two-day course provides training on and resources for personnel who require advanced application of the Incident Command System (ICS). The target audience includes all individuals who may assume a supervisory role in expanding incidents. This course expands upon information covered in ICS 100 & 200 courses (Both are pre-requisites for ICS 300). This course is required for those jurisdictions that choose to comply with the National Incident Management System (NIMS) ensuring they continue receiving their federal preparedness funding grants. It is recommended that jurisdictions identify middle management who will be acting in the role of incident commander or section chief during an event and enroll them in this course. // Prerequisites: Each student must successfully complete either IS 100 - "Introduction to Incident Command" and IS 200 - "ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents" (independent study courses listed of the FEMA website: http://www.training.fema.gov/EMIWeb/IS/crslist.asp OR Unified Command. Unified Command is instructor lead and provides tabletop exercises, allowing students to apply concepts presented in class. **Completion certificates for these courses must accompany the student application.
